The “In the manner of…” assignment was very fun. We did research on photographers whose style spoke to us. I chose Francesca Woodman. Her black and white photos spoke to womanhood and isolation. She did self-portraits, often nude, or semi-nude. Nudity seemed to be of great interest to her.
