Hello my dear reader,
I figured I should tell you a bit about myself, seeing as that is what an about page is supposed to do!
If this is the first time you are meeting me, hi! My name is Naomi Tercero and this, as you might have figured, is my website!
Here you will find creative pieces, including poems and short stories that date back years, and articles I write for New Mexico State University’s student run radio station, KRUX. These articles vary in topics ranging from lifestyle, art, and politics. Though I focus on things that really interest me, I hope something catches your eye!
I have been writing since I was able to pick up a pencil in a little northern New Mexican town called Santa Fe. I was born and raised in the Land of Enchantment and have grown to love it here, though I do love to see the world outside New Mexico.
In terms of what I write about, I find myself very interested in what it means to be human and like to focus on those experiences that are universal. I am also interested in nature and the beauty of the world. Beauty that is found in nature but also in humanity. The things I write about have evolved as I have but have been my constant through all the changes that life inevitably brings.
My strength is in poetry but as I study Creative Writing at New Mexico State University I am learning different techniques and forms and learning more about myself as a writer.
