A Sense of Las Cruces…

I spent time at two of Las Cruces’ top coffee spots over the course of a weekend. What I found was most of what you’d expect. Nothing extraordinary or anything that would change the course of a history textbook. But what I did observe was a sense of place, funnily enough.
Las Cruces, New Mexico has its unique sleepy-little-town aura that can either trap you or enchant you, depending on how you feel about it.
Like I said, there was nothing extraordinary in these shops, only what you find in any coffee shop around the world: People reading, doing computer work, the rush in the mornings. But it’s the locality of these places that make it special and worthy of documenting. The plants that you can’t find elsewhere, the people, the stories.
This is Grounded Cafe and Milagro Coffee Y Espresso.
