This series of self-portraits reflects who I am at this moment——a self-exploration of identity and expression shaped by years of struggling with body image as I approach adulthood.
In this work, I value the freedom to express myself physically without the lens of sexualization. It’s about reclaiming space, allowing my body to move and exist authentically. These photos represent the courage to be seen and the vulnerability of putting myself on display, embracing both strength and softness.
These photos were chosen to display at the third annual Honors Art Exhibit titled, The Collective Awareness. The theme was “What do you value?”
